Clean less. Play more.
Most boat maintenance is not hard, it is just badly timed. Do these small things on schedule and you will never spend a Saturday scrubbing again.
Light detail the exterior
Marine Mist over the hull and topsides to lift light water spotting and bring the gloss back. Spray a section, wipe, flip the towel and buff.
Marine MistKill the water spots
Mineral Mist+ on any spotting Marine Mist did not lift. Mist, let it dwell one to two minutes, wipe and buff to a gloss.
Mineral Mist+Wipe the interior
Mist Pure Interior onto vinyl, dash and flooring while it is still damp. Sunscreen lifts easily now and barely at all next week.
Pure InteriorDetail the touch points
Marine Mist over glass, screens, cupholders and rails. Streak-free, anti-static, safe over wax and ceramic.
Marine MistFifteen minutes at the ramp saves an hour later. The point of this pass is to get lake water, sunscreen and fish residue off before they have time to bond.
Foam and wash
Two to four ounces of Scrub Down in a five-gallon bucket, or through a foam cannon. Wash top down, rinse before it dries.
Scrub DownDeep clean the deck
Fresh Deck on EVA foam and non-skid. Let it soak, agitate with a soft brush, rinse. Full strength on the stubborn spots.
Fresh DeckRecharge protection
Graphene Ultra Shine over clean gelcoat and glass. Spray, wipe in, buff. Layers over existing wax or ceramic.
Graphene Ultra ShineFeed the vinyl
A full Pure Interior pass restores up to 60 days of UV protection. This is what prevents cracking, not what fixes it.
Pure InteriorThis is the pass that keeps the boat looking new instead of just clean. Work in the shade on cool surfaces.
Strip and assess
Full wash with Scrub Down, then look at the hull in raking light. Chalky and dull means oxidation, not dirt.
Scrub DownDecontaminate
Mineral Mist+ over the waterline, glass and hardware to clear a season of mineral buildup before you protect anything.
Mineral Mist+Seal for the season
Graphene Ultra Shine on every smooth exterior surface. Up to six months of hydrophobic protection is one launch to one haul-out.
Graphene Ultra ShineProtect the inside
Clean and condition all vinyl, carpet and flooring, then dry it completely before the cover goes on. Damp storage is how mildew wins.
Interior careA deep clean and seal before extended storage helps prevent premature wear and makes de-winterizing faster and easier so you can be the first on the water next season.

What are you cleaning?
Boats are built from a dozen different materials, and each one wants something different. Pick a surface to see which Drift products are made for it — and in what order to use them.
Gelcoat & fiberglass
The largest surface on the boat and the one that shows neglect first. Oxidation, waterline scum and hard water spots all start here.
Never wash a hot hull in direct sun — soap and spot remover dry before you can rinse them, which is how etching starts.
Marine vinyl & leather
Seating takes the worst of the sun. Fading and cracking are UV damage, not dirt, and no amount of scrubbing reverses them.
Avoid silicone dressings on marine vinyl. Silicone oils extract plasticizers from the material, causing the vinyl to dry out, turn brittle, and crack over time.
EVA foam & non-skid decking
Textured decking traps sunscreen, oils and shoe scuffs in its pores, which is why a rinse alone never quite works.
Pressure washing at close range can damage foam decking. Let the chemistry dwell and agitate with a soft brush instead.
Glass, screens & mirrors
Windshields and electronics need a cleaner that will not haze coatings or strip anti-glare layers on touchscreens.
Never spray straight onto a screen bezel. Mist the towel, then wipe, so nothing runs behind the glass.
Chrome, stainless & aluminum
Rails, cleats, props and towers. Salt film here turns into pitting far faster than on gelcoat.
Rinse hardware with fresh water after every saltwater trip, even if you are not washing the whole boat.
Carpet & upholstery
Snap-in carpet and cloth seating hold moisture and odor long after the surface feels dry.
Dry it fully before covering the boat. Trapped damp is what turns a stain into mildew.
Trailer, wheels & tires
The part nobody details and the part that rusts first. Brake dust and road film are acidic and they sit there all week.
Rinse the trailer, especially the brakes and springs, immediately after any saltwater launch.
Canvas, covers & bimini
Covers do the hardest UV work on the boat and get cleaned the least often.
Do not use products that strip factory water repellency. Rinse thoroughly and dry fully before folding.

To be honest, I was skeptical of another marine cleaning product, but Drift delivered. Even after a full week at Lake Powell, my boat cleaned up like it had been professionally detailed. Well worth the money!
